X-factor - This is category about everything that can’t really be compared but that are important in the fight and this is where the balance begins to shift in Akantor’s favor because not only does he have the physical strength advantage but he has much more other abilities. Nergigante is not the most intelligent creature in Monster Hunter by a long shot but he still have more signs of intelligence than Akantor.

Physical Strength - Both monsters rely heavily on physical strength while fighting so who is the stronger one? Nergigante is quite strong for his size and can overpower many powerful creatures like Teostra, Kushala Daora or Lunastra but here is the problem, he is strong for his size. Thirdly, Akantor’s spikes are much bigger than Nergigante’s and cover his back from aerial assault. Secondly, he is much bigger than Nergigante which means that his internal organs are harder to reach for Nergigante than they are for Akantor. Firstly, Akantor can withstand literal lava on his body really regularly. That being said, Nergigante is still the faster one out of the two.ĭurability - Nergigante might be though but Akantor has to win this one for many reasons. Akantor can dig pretty fast to the other side of the map and is known to occupy a wide range of habitats so it has to move at a reasonable speed. Nergigante wins this category but Akantor is not as slow as some people may think. Speed/Agilit/Mobility - This one is pretty obvious. (Try staying respectful however) We are going to analyze their stats and the one who wins the most category will be the winner. The Black God and the Eater of Elders are powerful spiky creatures that are really aggressive but who is the strongest out of the two?
